Extinct Civilisations of the Easter was a book of Egyptology.
One of its chapters discussed the Legend of Sutekh and the cults which, even then in the 20th century, continued to believe in the Legend, serving either the interests of Horus or those of the imprisoned Sutekh. The text of the legend, as translated by the British Museum from the earliest recorded version of it, was also included in the book in full. (PROSE: Background)
