Ellard presided over Mary Cleaver's funeral in 1965. He later tried to console Ray Cleaver in his hour of need to find out who his father was.[statement unclear] He was killed when Templeton's soldiers attacked the Wilcock Institute. (AUDIO: Sins of the Fathers)
