The first guard in a series of checkpoints leading up to Professor Logan's complex encountered the Third Doctor and the Brigadier driving up in a limousine. He ordered them to stop, checked the Brigadier's identification and allowed them to proceed. (COMIC: Doctor Who and the Rocks from Venus)
