Flare charges were explosives used by the Drashani Empire. One could blow a half-mile hole in a spaceship, while two could destroy the ship. The expedition sent to save Princess Aliona brought flare charges; one was used to kill an escaped Igress. (AUDIO: The Burning Prince)
