How are we going to deal with the new Doctor Who at the Proms? Matt Smith makes an appearance at the Royal Albert Hall as the Doctor and interacts with the audience. [1] This time one of the people there is actually involved, a boy called Ellis, so how do we proceed with this? Of course, with Music of the Spheres you could easily watch it on it's own and it would still be canon, but where do we draw the line for this? --The Thirteenth Doctor 14:34, July 28, 2010 (UTC)

Music of the Spheres as you've rightly identified can be watched on its own.

This though, I've watched the YouTube clip you've linked to, which says its been edited together.

But looking at other sources, it doesn't have the conventional components of a story; titles, theme tune etc.

Then there's the audience interaction element.

I'm inclined to say not canon. I'm not sure if it needs a page or not (if it does get/have a page it should marked with a {{notdwu}} tag. --Tangerineduel 16:33, July 28, 2010 (UTC)

I think it should have a page. Although MotS didn't interact directly with the audience, it still did, just not to the level of this one. One problem we have just now is the lack of a name. I don't know if this was the same for Music of the Spheres. Was it given a name afterwards? Anyway, it won't matter just now. We can wait until the televised version comes out next month(?). We can see how they deal with it, which may help us deal with it. Maybe they'll cut it like an episode. --The Thirteenth Doctor 20:42, July 29, 2010 (UTC)
