A controversial topic, well at least I think it is. A user has been editing various words using what is known as "American English" What is the accepted spelling format?, I'd sooner go for the English-English as in "defence" as opposed to "defense". Bigshowbower 09:45, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

English English is the correct style. It's in the Manual of style under 'usage and spelling'. --Tangerineduel 14:45, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
Speaking as one of the Yanks on here, I try to use British spellings, but sometimes my brain defaults back to American ones. I'm not bothered at all if these are changed later. Monkey with a Gun 16:04, 26 August 2009 (UTC) (who wears suspenders while riding the elevator)
