New novelisation infobox template

I made this up by editing the novel infobox template. because novelisations have come out in multiple editions, in most cases, I made some of the singular fields (publisher, ISBN, etc.) in plural fields. also note that I included a field in which the add the original story.

Odd formatting

Just had a look at the infobox page, it appears to result in a weird formatting where the left hand side menus are pushed down around the page. (Tried it in Firefox and Safari) Just wondering if this is happening for anyone else? --Tangerineduel 02:19, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

• Thanks for the grammar tip, I'll try and make the ammendements as soon as, I'll be revisiting all the target novelisations again (probably several times) over the next couple of months with additional bits to fill.

• Not sure about how useful the infobox is, as most of the groundwork has been done and is there really a need for it?
  I don't really want to redo all the pages.
  The multiple editions (and their ISBN's), I had intended to include under the Publishing History (UK) heading in the below notes. Thats going to take me some time to prepare, but as Target Books were always a paperback imprint, notes on the hardback editions (what there were) should I feel really be relegated from the proposed info box. (It does say beside the image that the cover shown is the first UK paperback edition, with the implication that the infobox includes information that is relative to that edition.)
  Nice colour though!

• The On Target reference is good, and I may add it as I go along. I was surprised when I did a number of searches around Doctor Who Target Books, how few sites came up and the quality (and quantity) of the information they carried. Already, this Wiki, is strongly positioned, and this section is only about a quarter done (maybe a third!). I think if other sites are to be given they should either be officially sanctioned sites, or else be able to offer the reader additional material or material not yet included on this wiki. (There's still page counts, chapter headings (?!), publishing histories, and publisher + notes to be added, and that just for each novelisation!)

I know of one good site on the Targets called Target Pratice which folded. it gave all the fictional "facts" related in the novelisations which you wouldn't find elsewhere. long gone, though, alas.

Archivist's notes

Weird thread, this. It's part announcement of a template, and part "where can I find info about noverlisations". The announced template did get made, but it's long since been fixed. At the time you're reading this note, the template described may not even be around anymore.
