I've created a new page, Tardis:User rights (text is from another wiki I use), to help make it easier and clearer for people to request or be nominated to become an administrator and give other users the opportunity to support or disagree with the nominations, allowing a week for the nominations to be commented on. Any comments/ideas?--GingerM 18:35, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

Do you really think that we need any more bureaucrats? We have 9 already, so it's not likely we're going to need any more in the near future. ~ Ghelæ -talk-contribs 16:41, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
Maybe not, but I still think that users should have a chance to nominate themselves and become administators/bureaucrats if they want to. Also, a lot of the 9 bureaucrats are inactive at the moment.--GingerM 17:04, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
Well I've nominated myself, I'm always on here...and am determined to stop the people who continually vandalise and create new pointless pages...--Tangerineduel 18:18, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
I to have decided to nominate myself (or at least let people know i am interested in a admin position for future reference if i get rejected :) ) Dark Lord Xander 10:48, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
Well it's been a long time now and it seems i have been rejected. I removed part of my comments but left my initial nomination and CzechOut's opposition as a record of my nomination and to show that i am still interested should anyone wish to have any further input. Although i doubt they will. 03:21, 17 August 2008 (UTC)
