Why don't you guys have a fancy custom skin like most other big wikis do? It makes the site seem so plain and boring :( I've been experimenting a little bit on User:Ose/monaco.css, if anyone wants to check it out, but it will need a lot more tweaking before it could possibly go live (if people even like it). - I like that, except the black. Things on the main page don't show up too well. We should have a custom skin and I feel that your code Ose is the right way to go. With a few tweaks, it will be great. User:Solar Dragon/Signature 18:02, June 29, 2010 (UTC)
- If you want to use a dark skin, all inline CSS (style="something") must be placed in MediaWiki:Common.css first. Then the default "bright" styles can be overriden by the dark skin, but they won't have to look dark if people want to keep a bright skin. Oset•c 20:55, June 29, 2010 (UTC)
Archivist's notes[[edit source]]
We've since developed a custom skin, though it's based in Wikia rather than the obsolete Monaco.css.
