In the Wanted Pages section there are several that have similar names. Clearly one of these has to be changed into the other but I'm unsure which. I'm asking those who know for sure to have them fixed.

These are:

The Curious Tale of Spring-Heeled Jack seems the correct title. (when in doubt, use Google. go to the original source material. The name on the comic is quite clearly The Curious Tale of the Spring-Heeled Jack) (edited: CzechOut | 23:00, 15 July 2008 (UTC))
Elizabeth Bathory in terms. real world historical accuracy. in terms of the Whoniverse, they may have spelled her name a different way, in which case we should go with that spelling. (I don't know when/where she has appeared or gotten a mention in the Whoniverse.)
Loom (singular) for simplicity's sake. --Stardizzy? 18:57, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
Google gives both titles for the Spring-Heeled Jack story. Also. Bathory is in the MA Managra. Doug86 19:29, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
I messed up. anyway, I found a 2003 BBC web page promo for the relevant issue of DWM that says "Curious Tale". also some reviews that confirm this.

Bathory: I don't have a copy of the novel Managra, so can't check it. I do have AHistory or web pages but that has a few errors. --Stardizzy? 19:42, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
Have just grabbed a copy of DWM off the shelf it's The Curious Tale of Spring-Heeled Jack. --Tangerineduel 15:33, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
Ahh, Tangerineduel beat me to the correct name. Sorry for the redundant message, above. On your other two red-links, we have a bit of a mystery.
  • The difference in spelling of "Oakely/Oakley" originates from the Big Finish website itself. The information on our Companion Chronicles pages give precisely the same spelling as the Big Finish pages themselves do. The question is, have Big Finish screwed up, and perpetuated a typo through the cloning of one page to another? Or are there actually two different people here? "Lawrence Oakley" is the the only that pulls up a page on IMDb, and his credits plausibly suggest he's the one we're after, at least insofar as the Music credit is concerned. Someone should check whether the CD cover itself perpetuates this difference in spelling. However, judging from the second season of Companion Chronicles, the Music Composer is also credited as the Sound Designer, so if I had to guess, my money is that BF have screwed up and the person is actually Lawrence Oakley.
  • As for Bathory, the "z" spelling is used in the text of Mangara, so it should be the article name. But a redirect from th e"s" spelling wouldn't go amiss, just because it's a common variant of the name and users might well search using that spelling. CzechOut | 23:29, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
