Francis McCallum

Dr Francis McCallum was an antiquarian who collected a diverse range of works of art depicting a red lady after she killed his mother and father. He trapped the red lady with a drawing before blinding himself.
To protect others, Dr McCallum spent his inheritance collecting the art. In 1963, his wife and son were killed by the red lady and he was found dead clutching his drawing. In his will, Dr McCallum asked that Albert Kennedy, a friend of the family, lock away the collection and have it forgotten. However, Kennedy looked at the collection and instead donated it to the National Museum. He was survived by a cousin, Rachel. (AUDIO: The Red Lady)
