Frank Skinner, MBE (born 28 January 1957[1]) is a British stand-up comedian and television presenter who appeared as a Dalek Operator in the 50th Anniversary story, The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot. Although he was not named, it is assumed that like the majority of the cast, he was portraying an exaggerated version of himself.

He later played the role of a soldier in the Big Finish Doctor Who audio story Eyes of the Master and DCI Scott Neilson in the Fourth Doctor Adventures audio story The Sinestran Kill.

Skinner has often admitted to being an avid fan of Doctor Who, tried to get a part in the show itself before appearing on-screen as Perkins in Mummy on the Orient Express.[1]

He also appeared as himself, alongside Doctor Who elements, in the 2011 BBC Christmas ident.
