Frey (Barnyard of the Cyberons)
Frey (originally Fred) was an Ephem who had adventures with Christina Cwej.
She was genetically engineered with human biodata and a Superior's consciousness, specifically that of a high-ranking Superior known as Prefrey. Frey was part of The Friend and went by the assignment Friend #42. (PROSE: Rebel Rebel)

Originally named Fred, Frey's new alias came about when their name was misspelled upon being entered into the Superior's central register. (PROSE: Rebel Rebel)
Meeting Cwej-V[[edit] | [edit source]]
On their search for Cwej-V Christina located a decapitated Cyberon head and managed to access the database hivemind to locate Cwej's whereabouts on Svelter V. There she unlocked Cwej from his dreaming pod which he had been asleep in for 50 years. Once back aboard the ship the group were immediately tailed by Larles in a Scathe-shuttle, Frey attempted to help Christina avoid Larles' onslaught of missiles but ended up being fatally wounded. At this point she was able to renew her body which Christina indicated that she had done on more than one occasion. Their new incarnation was more hostile towards Cwej and Frey later revealed that an Ephem needed to copy characteristics from those around them at the time of their renewal meaning that they copied pieces of Cwej, Tina and Larles, and Frey believed that they had received Larles' temper.
Frey became lost within the underlevels of the Tower alongside Chris Cwej where they encountered Koschei. Frey was dying because as an Ephem she needed regular infusions of Superior biodata to survive. Koschei offered to give her his own biodata and lead them out of the dungeon, on the condition that Cwej promise to listen to Koschei's words on a future date. (PROSE: Rebel Rebel)
Tina and Frey later approach Larles and Kwol, Tina informs them that the Cwejen controlled by Cwej are people in their own right and may object to how they are being used. (PROSE: Barnyard of the Cyberons)

The version of Frey that first encountered Chris Cwej was a young woman with a clear-cut aristocratic voice. She wore wide trousers and a lace shirt with ruffled sleeves, and had messy dark curls with white tips. In her next body Frey had curly red hair and freckles. She had dimples when she smiled and a cockney-sounding accent. (PROSE: Rebel Rebel)

It is heavily implied that Frey's biodata donor Prefrey is an alias of Romana.
