Samuel Frost
Samuel Frost was an artificial man created by Irving Braxiatel as part of his plan to curtail the birth of the Deindum.

In Mount Edad Oscura, Irving Braxiatel made several failed attempts to create an invulnerable and immortal man with super strength to destroy or take over Buenos Aires to prevent any humans from falling through a 25th century time fissure to Deindus, changing the future to stop the evolution of the Deindum. He eventually succeeded in creating Samuel Frost in 1937 and gave him his task, giving him permission to threaten but not kill Bernice Summerfield if she got in his way. Shortly after his creation, Frost destroyed the machine that gave him life to keep it from Albrecht Strasser, who believed him to be a superman who could be an asset to the Nazis, and Robyn Drake convinced one of the failed experiments to keep Frost busy whilst she and Benny escaped the mountain.
In 2002, Frost made a deal with Sebastian to collect the Left and Right Hands of God and return them to a statue of Arinsius to give Sebastian powers, in return for which he would destroy Buenos Aires. The statue turned Sebastian into a giant beetle and he attacked the city.
Frost funded an expedition in 2212 and secretly went with them in their spaceship. He planned to wipe out humanity with a thought-eating gel, but the palaeontologists ignored the label he placed on the container to ensure that they did not do so until they returned to Earth and the gel killed several people aboard the ship. When he attempted to get away in an escape pod, he was detected and confronted by Benny, to whom he revealed his plans.
Frost came to control Buenos Aires and placed an impenetrable barrier around it. He lured Benny there by kidnapping Peter, killing President Summerfield and sending her corpse to her on Eros as a message, but Robyn helped her get the Amulet of Irony. Because of Frost's attempts to destroy or take over Buenos Aires, the Deindum sent Robyn to stop him. As she experienced time backwards, she was able to team up with a projection of Benny's consciousness, the only version of her that Frost ever met, to change time and ensure that Buenos Aires was safe.
