GEOCOMTEX (tie-in website)
- You may be looking for the in-universe website or something else.
GEOCOMTEX was a website released on 30 April 2005[2] to coincide with the the 2005 series of Doctor Who, one of several websites created at that time. In early May, a hidden link in the Adobe Flash version of The Long Game-themed homepage of the Doctor Who website lead to GEOCOMTEX.[3]
Everything on this website is told from an in-universe perspective, as if you were reading the very pages on the in-universe website itself. Fittingly for Geocomtex, the website ceased functioning in 2012.[4] The domain has since been bought by other, non-Doctor Who entities.
The website had two main versions, the version at release, and the version released at some point between 15 June 2006[5] and 1 July 2006[6].
