A Galactinational was an intergalactic business corporation. In the early 36th century, Lebenswelt sold its mineral wealth to a Galactinational; this and other deals it made with the Galactinationals over the years made it vastly wealthy. Rhian Salmond claimed that her mother wanted her to marry a "nice young man" from a Galactinational. (PROSE: The Book of the Still)
