Alison, originally known as Galaxy L-10, was a galaxy that the Tenth Doctor named.

Two solar systems in the galaxy went to war. One side began experimenting with time travel to prevent their enemies' existence. After the Time Agency's Hourglass predicted this had a 96% chance of leading to time travel spreading across the galaxy and destabilising the universe, Time Marshal Helen Barnes had the galaxy placed in a time lock, removing it from existence. The Tenth Doctor arranged its release by convincing the Hourglass to do so. He named the galaxy after Alison McLure, a Time Agent who refused to follow Barnes' order to destroy the Hourglass before the galaxy fully returned to existence. He took her to the time travel experiments in the hopes of her averting the future the Hourglass had predicted. (AUDIO: The Shattered Hourglass) The Doctor later referenced this event in a list of things that he told Ood Sigma he had done whilst avoiding answering his summons. (TV: The End of Time)
