Rachel Nelson
Rachel Nelson was the wife of Peckham resident Garry Nelson and the mother of Steven Nelson.
She died abruptly a few days before Christmas 2017. Both remaining Nelsons were devastated, and grew apart over the following months as their grief manifested in different ways. While Garry quickly tried to date again, marking himself out as single on his Facebook profile and using a profile picture with a comical-looking seductive pout, Steven clung to any hope of seeing his mother again. As a result, he bought a Ouija board from a novelty shop and accidentally summoned a dangerous poltergeist while trying to contact Rachel's spirit. With P.R.O.B.E.'s help, however, they were able to get over their issues, cutting off the source of anguish psychically strengthening the poltergeist and allowing P.R.O.B.E.'s banishment ritual to take hold.
