Gethin Woods

Gethin Woods is a forest in South Wales that was used as a filming location for the pocket universe in the Doctor Who television story Hide. Kemi-Bo Jacobs, who played Hila Tacorien in Hide, described Gethin Woods in an interview as "a really, really beautiful part of Wales." She further elaborated that the mist that the crew had added to the forest was "great for me to feed off as an actor".[1]
A bicycle park opened to the public in August 2013. BikePark Wales celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2023.[2]
