In 2006, prior to the London UFO crash, Glynn wrote to Who is Doctor Who? regarding MP Joseph Green's recent weight gain, agreeing with others that it was just mean to attack Green for his weight problem, especially when his recent speechs had been so "unfocused". Glynn quoted "Our nation has nothing to fear at this time except... except the Big... Bad Wolf.", asking what that was about.
