Graelliscy

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Graelliscy was a planet with an unusual gravitation pull.

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

Humans first settled on Graelliscy at the end of the 45th century, but it took them years to adapt to the planet. Beautiful cities on floating islands were built in the skies, making the most of the planet's gravitational pull. Everything floated in the air during the summer, but gravity would increase in the winter, pulling the islands towards the ground. In early 4826, the Daleks' unending march through the universe spread to Graelliscy.

An airborne attack was the natural approach, but the Daleks underestimated the sky city's defences. Their gun towers picked the Daleks off with ease. After regrouping and re-assessing the situation, the Daleks realised their only chance was to take out the central control station. They attacked again, focusing all their fire on the main island to break through its defensive shield. They fought long and hard, finally bringing down the power source for the shields. The Daleks began a massacre, exterminating everyone in sight; within days the Daleks were victorious. (PROSE: Floating Fortress)
