The Great Higher-Ups were a group who vested authority in Doctor Know. When Tetra-None Hepta-Oct wasted a large amount of office paper from Doctor Know's printer, she stated she was sure the Great Higher-Ups' budget covered the waste. Doctor Know later invoked "the authority vested in [him] by the Great Higher-Ups", as well as other powers, when the Deadline attacked the office, making the Deadline identify itself.
