Gregory Johnson was an architect who designed the Empire State Building in 1929. He worked for Shreve, Lamb and Harmon, who had in turn been employed by Empire State, Inc.. Johnson designed the art-deco skyscraper in less than a fortnight. (PROSE: The Time Travellers' Almanac)
