Greyfriars Graveyard was a cemetery in Edinburgh. In 1828, the Sixth Doctor and Evelyn Smythe travelled here to investigate the Doctor's suspicions that there was bodysnatching taking place, which were confirmed when they came across an exposed, empty coffin surrounded by freshly-dug dirt.
