A guard was a member of the Chancellery Guard. He investigated the Fourth Doctor's TARDIS after it arrived at an unauthorised area of the Capitol.
He transducted the Doctor's TARDIS to the capital and was later present at the Doctor's trial. (TV: The Deadly Assassin)
