Gulliver's Rest
Gulliver's Rest was the only planet in the Laputa system. It was most notable for existing close to a tear in reality known as the Merrapine Scar.

The inhabitants stopped Earth Alliance scientists from investigating the Merrapine Scar. As a result, it was poorly-understood when, during the Cyber-War, a Cyberon ship fleeing from human pursuers fled through the Scar. (PROSE: Flight of the Cyberons)
During the War in Heaven, Dionus, a member of the House Military who had defected from the Great Houses' service after witnessing the horrors of the Battle of Golgalith, settled on Gulliver's Rest with his family. He founded a clinic specialised in treating temporal diseases and other byproduct of the War on "lesser beings". (AUDIO: Eternal Escape) He received the visits of numerous patients from off-world, some of whom had ulterior motives, (AUDIO: Call Me Ishmael, The Healer's Sin, Me & My Ghost) as well as representatives of Faction Paradox and the Friend. Eventually, however, Gulliver's Rest became the site of another battle between the major War powers, forcing him to flee as his family was erased from history around him. (AUDIO: Eternal Escape)
During V-Time, however, Chris Cwej was able to visit a "medical centre" on Gulliver's Rest which "specialised in afflictions of a temporal nature" after he sorted out the shifting timelines in the planet Golgalith. (PROSE: Crushing Reality)

Gulliver's Rest first appeared in the free online non-DWU short story Eternal Escape published online by James Hornby, whose bare bones were later reworked into the longer Faction Paradox story of the same name at BBV Productions. It had, by then, already made a debut in a licensed DWU work in the short story Crushing Reality.
