Guy Burgess was a British spy. He and Donald Maclean defected to Russia in 1951. (PROSE: Endgame, History 101)
The First Doctor met him in 1937 when Steven Taylor and Vicki Pallister saved him from falling. He helped to retrieve the TARDIS from the top of the college's wall. He then helped in the Doctor's investigations. (AUDIO: Entanglement)
