Hamburg was a city in Germany.

At the end of World War II in Europe, the British were advancing on Hamburg on 30 April 1945, the day Adolf Hitler killed himself. Martin Bormann, Eva Braun and her unborn child landed in Hamburg from after escaping the Soviet advance through Berlin. They fled Hamburg via submarine before the British Army arrived.
