Harvey's father was a farm owner in Western Australia. By 1979 his wife had passed away, and the farm was struggling financially, which led to him firing some of his farmhands and recruiting his son to work the land.
On 12 July, 1979, Harvey's dad was taken over by a parasitic Zalphon, which the Tenth Doctor later exorcised from him using a sonic blast. (PROSE: Bennelong Point [+]Loading...["Bennelong Point (short story)"])
