Hatch owned a phone repair shop on City Road in Cardiff where he secretly sold alien artefacts. Most of his business came from Sorvix, although he was not one himself, meaning that he was unwilling to make an enemy of them.
Orr directed Jack Harkness and Tyler Steele to Hatch to find a way to disable and remove her control necklace. The following day, Jack returned to the shop with Orr, but the remote that he had found was out of date and unsuccessful at removing it. He flirted with Orr during their visit, during which they grew a large pair of breasts.
Tyler visited Hatch again and asked him if he had something that would prevent Orr from getting into his head again, disturbed by them taking Damian's form. (AUDIO: Orr)
