Head of production

The head of production works for the BBC on multiple productions within the same genre, sometimes working alongside a production executive. This is a new position within the BBC, beginning in 2013. They are largely responsible for budgets and funding allocations.

Gordon Ronald served as head of production for Doctor Who and Class from 2015 to 2017.

In September 2017, Radford Neville took over as head of production. He received credit on Doctor Who releases beginning in 2018.
