Helga Schmidt was a German spy living in New York City under the pseudonym Helen Smith. She became a spy because of the actions of the War. She met the Sixth Doctor and Harry Houdini in 1917 and eventually helped the Doctor return a stranded alien to the Time Vortex. (AUDIO: Harry Houdini's War)
