Henry Whittington Smythe

Henry Wittington Smythe was supposedly an old Major, but in reality a Field Marshal, who stayed in the Carstairs hotel on the planet Chelsea 426. He had fought in many wars, such as the Martian Wars, the Battle of Mercutio 14 and the Siege of the Hexion Gates, where he encountered the Sontarans. During the Rutan-Sontaran War he was evacuated to the Tenth Doctor's TARDIS, as were Jake and Vienna Carstairs. He was killed when Wallace Fitch under Rutan control attacked him.
