Hernandez was a guard at the Vault — the Cheviot Hills site — stationed outside the cold storage.

Director Vanessa Hardcastle showed Hernandex her badge when she led Giles and Archie into the cold storage. After a deceased little girl and Donovan was infected by Cyberon, Hernandez told Hardcastle over a radio to tell her that he and other personnel were cornered by Donovan. Shortly after, he ordered soldiers in the Vault to attack the little girl, who was also a werewolf. After the ordeal, Vanessa commanded Hernandez to be at ease. (PROSE: A Worthy Successor)
