Hester Stanton was a resident of Somerset.
In 1936, she tried to use magic to awaken the land, and then use that power to put her son George on the throne. Her plans were foiled when Harry Sullivan confronted her with the Holy Grail, which made the ground open up and swallow her. (PROSE: Wolfsbane)
