Hill was Professor Cedric Scrivener's butler during the 1860s. Hill served aboard the HMS Temeraire during the Battle of Trafalgar on 21 October 1805. His son served in the Crimean War.
Hill opened up the coffin containing Palito, and took the one chain link from the silver Coronoa, which managed to revive his son, who was dying. He then sold it to Dr Gideon McDivett . He was eventually killed by having his brains eaten by Mordrega. (AUDIO: The Ghosts of Gralstead)
