Hippolito and his brother Antonio were the rulers of the Morestran Imperial families in the 392nd century. Ferdinand du Vindice, who was devoted to destroying the Morestran Orthodox Church, killed Hippolito to save the Fifth Doctor's life. Ironically, Antonio used that as a pretext to attack the Church's authority. (PROSE: Zeta Major)
