Hotel Continental was a hotel in Barcelona. Eileen O'Shaughnessy stayed there while working for the Independent Labour Party. Her husband, George Orwell, joined her for some time.
Eleana Domínguez arranged a meeting with the Eighth Doctor and Anji Kapoor in the hotel's foyer. Many overseas journalists were staying there at the time. Pia Samscuro also met the Doctor and Anji at the hotel and noted that the owners seemed to overlook the Doctor's apparent capitalism if he bought drinks at the bar. George Orwell's diaries were later confiscated from the hotel. (PROSE: History 101)
