theres a few questions about the dalek mutants i'd like to get feedback on like: -how without the kaled race to get new mutants from is there any official text, adio or tv story that says that daleks clone each other to continue the dalek race

-do you think the new dalek mutants will look differnt from the bronze daleks

- which dalek fraction do you think participated in the time war imperial daleks or renigade

- do you think the dalek eternal has anything to do with making new mutants

also if anyone else has any queeries about the kaled mutants i'd like to discuss them

"which dalek faction do you think participated in the time war imperial daleks or renegade"?

None of the survivors we saw -- the lone Dalek in Dalek, the Emperor (but not his corpse-derived creations) in The Parting of the Ways & the Cult of Skaro in Doomsday, Daleks in Manhatten/Evolution of the Daleks & Journey's End had the mechanical implants (directly connected to their flesh) that the Imperial Daleks of Remembrance of the Daleks had. In that respect, they seemed much more like the Renegade Daleks & their casings looked like a more advanced version of the Renegades' casings. From what (fairly little) we know of the Time War, Davros participated & had a "command ship" but the Daleks also had an Emperor who was an actual Dalek. To me, that suggests that the Renegade faction came out on top but Davros (again) managed to make himself useful enough to them to have a high position, though not to be their ruler.

However, it's possible that both factions took part in the war but that the Dalek survivors all derived from the Renegade faction. One point in favour of that possibility is that the Doctor said that Davros' command ship "flew into the jaws of the Nightmare Child" in the first year of the war. Although Davros wasn't killed, being resued by Dalek Caan & brought out of the war would have deprived the Imperial faction of leadership, anyway. That loss of leadership might account for there being no Imperial-type Dalek survivors.

In summary: I'd say the Renegade Daleks definitely participated in the Time War (under an Emperor of their own) but I can't be sure the Imperial Daleks (under Davros) didn't also do so, at least early on. --89.240.254.119talk to me 03:24, August 30, 2012 (UTC)

i must say, i've always wondered how the daleks continue their species. i mean, they're stuck in their metal casings, so where would the baby dalek come from? and how will it get its own casing, since the daleks don't have hands to create them with? also, how do daleks get energy? i mean, they don't eat. do they breath? and if so, what? what about, er... waste material? yes, my mind wanders to strange places. I can anwser some of those queries according to this wikia in the novel of the daleks they grow there own food, they also power there casing but not there guns through phycic power and the daleks could also use different arm attachments to build machines to build casings the other things you mentioned are interesting --Kingalien 08:19, August 31, 2012 (UTC)

And I did write the page but I forgot to sign--Kingalien 08:21, August 31, 2012 (UTC)

Imamadmad: The very first 2nd Doctor story, The Power of the Daleks, showed as much of Dalek reproduction as we've ever seen. Unfortunately (!!), it's one of the missing stories, so you can't watch it nowadays, but I remember a production line of casings, with the Dalek creatures (basically all "test tube babies") being put into their casings as the last step before the casings were sealed & became operational. --2.96.22.119talk to me 11:08, August 31, 2012 (UTC)
