I haven't noticed anyone mention this yet but what if the Ganger Doctor becomes/is an exact duplicate of the Doctor (meaning he can regenerate too) and the Doctor really does die permanently in The Impossible Astronaut. The Ganger Doctor could start with fresh amount of regenerations being the first incarnation of The Doctor Mark II. V00D00M0NKY 13:16, May 28, 2011 (UTC)
