Howling:Jack will be back January 2012?

This discussion was buried in the middle of a different thread, where most people probably won't notice it, so I decided to give it its own thread.
According to at least three separate Aussies on various blogs and forums, at the end of episode 10 of Miracle Day, BBC Australia showed an image with the Torchwood logo and the text, "Jack will be Back January 2012 bbcaustralia.com/Torchwood".
At least two people have uploaded video to YouTube of the footage; one recording the image from his TV on a camera (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOYO9GZiD44), the apparently ripping the video feed.
At this point, it's too early to tell if this is a hoax by a group of kids in Sydney, a goof by BBC Oz, or proof that Torchwood will be back on in three months.
It's worth noting that in two recent John Barrowman interviews, he's talked about how he's ready to start shooting in January if RTD gives the go-ahead, and someone who claims to work at an agency reported that John Barrowman is booked for something unspecified for January 2012 and unavailable for other projects, which makes it sound implausible that there could possibly be anything on air by January (as if it weren't already implausible enough).

the video looks like it was legitimately filmed of a recording of the program on foxtel. it will repeat on tuesday on bbc australia's uktv. if it is a bbc goof, they will probably have taken it out for the repeat. if that is the case, we will see by tuesday... 11:25, September 11, 2011 (UTC)
Ok, as an Australian whovian (torchwoodian?) I can confirm that on the second showing of the torchwood finale in Australia, it did indeed end with the words "jack will be back", so it was probably not a goof and this conversation should continue Imamadmad 11:55, September 13, 2011 (UTC)
- Doctor Who Online has suggested here that this was a promo that was only added to the end of the Australian broadcast of the episode and refers to a series of Torchwood repeats that will be shown on the 'UKTV' channel in January 2012; not a hastily arranged new series. It seems it's just for Australian eyes and should not appear in any other territory - I'll let you know on Thursday if it turns up in the BBC broadcast, but it looks doubtfulBaziel 14:34, September 13, 2011 (UTC)
