There will be 2 major cliffhangers this series, but what are they:

  • River Song's identity
  • Amy pregnant or not
  • The Little regenerating girl
  • The Doctor's 'death'
  • The Silent's main goal

The cliffhanger has something to do with River, as apparently we find out her identity in episode 8 (autumn half). http://www.combom.co.uk/2011/05/doctor-who-fans-must-wait-to-discover.html

I suspect the "2 major cliffhangers" they're referring to are 2 new things we're going to discover in episode 7. That's how cliffhangers usually work. There are also going to be unresolved "arc story" questions, but not all of them are cliffhangers, not all of them will be resolved in episode 8, and some of them might even continue into next year (as some of last season's questions did). --99.35.132.17 20:58, May 20, 2011 (UTC)

"Amy pregnant or not" - "The Little regenerating girl" - "The Silent's main goal"

i think this mysteries are connected ... the Silence says to Amy: "You will bring the Silence" possible the little girl is like a Anti-Doctor? the doom of everything putted in a cute suit? --hanmac 17:21, May 22, 2011 (UTC)

River Song's identity: If it's true that this is resolved in episode 8, it's a good candidate for a mid-season cliffhanger.

As of the end of episode 6, we know Amy is pregnant and very close to giving birth, so that's not a cliffhanger. Something to do with the baby might be, though.

The little girl who started to regenerate: If Sydney Wade is, as rumoured, in episode 7, something to do with her is a possible candidate for a mid-season cliffhanger. However, the mystery of the girl looks like something that won't be fully resolved until episode 13.

The Doctor's apparent death looks like something that won't be resolved until episode 13, so that's probably not a mid-season cliffhanger.

The plan of the Silence: It would make some narrative sense to have the first half of the series build up to discovering the plan and the second half of the series be devoted to trying to stop it, so that also seems a good candidate for a mid-season cliffhanger. 78.146.188.114 10:22, May 29, 2011 (UTC)
