Have you noticed the first letters from both episodes are: Victory/Voyage Of/Of The/The Daleks/Damned

VOTD. Do you think it's an accident, or not?--Drwhobg 06:59, May 1, 2010 (UTC)

Wow. Not really that great a link. I mean, it is probably not the first time this has happened. ☆The Solar Dragon (Talk)☆ 18:01, April 30, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, there won't be any sort of link. This sorta thing happens all the time, for example: TR (The Rescue and The Romans); ROTD (Resurrection of the Daleks, Revelation of the Daleks and Remembrance of the Daleks); TTM (The Time Meddler and The Time Monster); T (Terminus and Timelash) and DOTD (Day of the Daleks and Destiny of the Daleks. In fact, most of the Dalek episodes are titled "Abstract-noun of the Daleks", so many of them have the initials "_otD".
I can imagine that, after having written Voyage, RTD looked at the initials and thought, "Hey, that's got to be the same as some past story about the Daleks, right? If not, I should tell Steven to do one."
That much of a link is plausible. But that's as far as I can imagine it going. Unless Astrid is secretly a Dalek (which is impossible, because she's already the Rani, and Romana, and Susan, right?). --Falcotron 11:24, May 3, 2010 (UTC)
