Howling talk:I Know What's In The Pandorica SPOILERS
Reet...here goes: Throughout the series there's perception filters or things not quite being as they seem (i.e the star whale offered itself for use as opposed to being captured against its will which even the good Doc didn't suss) now WE (the viewer) perceive the Doctor to be a planet/galaxy/universe saving hero however the Daleks, Cybermen, Slitheen etc etc have the Doctor to thank for thwarting their various schemes making him the "Baddie", yeah?
Now the quote "There was a goblin. Or a trickster, or a warrior. A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. Nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it -- one day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world." who else can this refer to but the Doctor? Trickster? Check: Defeats his enemies with schemes and machinations rather than direct conflict. Nameless? Check: the Doc's real name is still a mystery after 40 years. Soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies? Check: Last Great Time War, the Racnoss, The Family Of Blood, Saturynians etc etc. The most feared being in the galaxy? CHECK: The Daleks refer to him as "The Oncoming Storm", the Vashta Nerada only had to reference him in a library to halt their onslaught...and it refers to a Being (singular). Nothing could stop it? well almost check: 10 was quite happy to go done with the Racnoss until Donna talked him round and check the events of The Waters Of Mars.
I think the Doctor is already in the Pandorica and that when his time lines cross directly (safe to say he is either gonna open or be chucked in the Pandorica) we're going to see the Big Bang of ep13...a point's been made of saying that the Doctor is a complicated space-time event and it's known that really he shouldn't cross his own timelime so could this be the cause? Also in the Lodger the Doctor instructed Amy to leave that note after the events had happened so there's a precedent set to avoid potential paradoxes etc The Doctoer had said in The Lodger that should he touch the Time Engine he would explode and take the solar system with him, so there's enough potential energy there.
I think there's a reason why we keep seeing photo's of his previous incarnations cropping up too...any thoughts?
