Hrhoonda was a member of the Menoptera expedition tasked with clearing the way for the Menoptera spearhead to free Vortis from the Animus. He distrusted Barbara Wright and thought they should kill her.
He was guarding the entrance to the cave they were in when Barbara led the Zarbi into the cave. In the ensuring fight, Hrhoonda was killed by a larvae gun. (TV: The Web Planet)

Hrhoonda is replaced by a new Menoptera named Challis in the novelisation.
