Hydra Hall

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Hydra Hall was a stately home on Earth. It was near to the Hydra Lodge cottage and was a frequent focal point for the Hydra's Gate History Society.

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

In 1942, Hydra Hall was used as a safe place for evacuees during World War II, of which Sidney Bird was one. One day, while playing hide-and-seek in the basement, the hall was bombed by the Luftwaffe, which uncovered a portal to a pocket universe that Sid entered. Being considered a place of bad luck, it fell into a state of disrepair for eighty years.

Around February 2022, the Thirteenth Doctor, Yaz, and Dan investigated a spate of disappearances that led them to the now-dilapidated hall. Meeting the owner, Vera Parker, in Hydra Lodge, the Doctor realised the hall's connection to the pocket universe Yaz had recently disappeared into and had transported Sid from 1942. Eventually, upon entering the pocket universe herself, the Doctor was able to send everyone inside of it home and close it off at the source.

With the decades-old threat neutralised, Vera held tours of the recently-restored Hydra Hall that were open to the public. (COMIC: Hydra's Gate)
