When trying to convince Seleucus to help him assassinate Alexander the Great and his three generals, Antipater mentioned that should he succeed Alexander as ruler, Seleucus would have his named mentioned from Athens to the banks of the Indus.
When given a compass as a gift by the First Doctor, Alexander noted that he had heard of such instruments which were used by a "tribe beyond the Indus", with First Doctor informing him that they would one day be called the Chinese. (AUDIO: Farewell, Great Macedon)
