- The Children of Davros was written by Njeri Ngugi and published by Mombassafax, New Kenya. It was translated from Swahili by Ben Aaronovitch.
- Sontarans, Metatraxi, Movellans, and Daleks are warrior race.

- Metatraxi were planned to appear in the unmade stage play World War and later the unmade TV story Earth Aid. Introduction became their first reference in a DWU story.
- Excerpts from The Children of Davros also appear in his novelisation of Remembrance of the Daleks and in Lance Parkin's A History of the Universe.
