James Tilly Matthews was a 18th century London greengrocer who accused the Home Secretary of treason and was subsequently held in Bethlehem Mental Prison.
He was honoured as "Cousin James" in the Liberté ritual of the Eleven-Day Empire's Feast of Fools. (PROSE: A Tour of the Capital)
