The Jamolean Lance was a type of energy weapon. It was a tube-like weapon, which would produce a exothermic reaction that caused the temperature to increase to fatal levels.
Torchwood Three had a Jamolean lance in their armoury. When an apatosaurus-like alien was accidentally teleported to the hub, Toshiko Sato was able to able to use the Jamolean lance on it, turning it to ashes. (PROSE: Pack Animals)
